- Offered a position with the New ‘Radio Caroline’ in 1983, and stupidly turned it down !!
- Worked with 3 Irish landbased pirates in 1987
- Copywriter and studio engineer – ILR / 1989 – 2002,
- Winner of over 60 awards for Creative / Commercial advertisements between 1994-2002 in UK & USA.
- Presenter of ‘Chris Day’s Pirate Gold’ since 2005.
- Presenter & Producer of radio commercials for RSL, Internet & Community stations / 2005 – present day
- Owner of ‘Flashback ‘67’ – The largest collection of Offshore radio related memorabilia in the UK
- Operates ‘Pirate Memories’ website dedicated to Offshore Radio.
